In 2022 we celebrated 30 years of operating as a RYA Commercial Training Centre.
We are the longest standing commercial RYA training centre on the non tidal Thames, serving both the commercial and private sectors with Marine based training.
Our aim is to provide focused face to face training and advice to small groups. We operate from our riverside training room within the National Sports Centre where we also manage the waterfront with our 8 motorboats and 32 sailing dinghies.
We use the river for motor-boating from February to December, for Sailing from Easter to end of September and classroom for theory based courses throughout the winter and spring months.
We also gift our skills, equipment and centre to a local charity called Accessible Boating Thames. This charity offers on the water experiences to those who would otherwise not have the opportunity to do so, using a range of specialist boats.
