    Duration : 2 Days

    Location : Bisham Abbey, Classroom

    Classroom based 2 day basic navigation course for clients with no navigation experience.

    Duration : 5 days

    Location : Bisham Abbey, Classroom

    This intensive course is run over 5 consecutive days, for clients that have completed RYA Essential Navigation or have a small amount of coastal experience.

  • Cost : £610 per person

    Duration : 6 Days

    Location : Bisham Abbey, Classroom

    Classroom based 6 day Navigation course. Ideal for candidates for the Coastal Skipper practical course & Yachtmaster Offshore exam. Some revision of the Day Skipper shorebased course plus more advanced skills in offshore & coastal navigation by day & night, pilotage & meteorology. All candidates must either hold RYA Dayskipper Theory or have knowledge to the equivalent level.

  • Cost : £155 per person + £70 payable to RYA

    Duration : 1 Day

    Location : Bisham Abbey, Classroom

    A course and exam for anyone who owns a fixed or handheld marine VHF radio. A radio is an important piece of safety equipment on board and it is vital to understand the correct procedures. The Short Range Certificate is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment on any British flagged vessel voluntarily fitted with a radio either fixed or hand held.

    Course pre-requisite: 3 hours pre course reading, a course pack will be sent to you.

  • Cost : £155 per person

    Duration : 1 Day

    Location : Bisham Abbey, Classroom

    Our one-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. This course is MCA approved and satisfies the requirements for Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certificates of competence and meets the requirements for the Small Passenger boat code.

    Location : Bisham Abbey, Classroom

    A course to help you prevent and solve diesel engine failure. The course will give awareness of the main systems of a marine diesel engine and the ability to prevent breakdown at sea & rectify defects not requiring workshop support. This course includes basic maintenance and engine care which will prevent most cases of engine failure.

    For clients who have completed an RYA Marine Radio (SRC) course online and now need to complete the certification process with a local face to face exam.

    For clients who are looking to achieve an ICC and plan to navigate the Inland Waterways of Europe. A copy of the (G17) RYA European Waterways Regulations can be purchased from us as your vessel needs it when entering European inland waters and acts as syllabus support material for the CEVNI test.
